Hi everyone! I’m Mimi aka Thao’s sister from another mister. We met at temple when we were younger, but became close during our college years at UTA. I am super honored to be her Maid of Honor...so honored that when she asked me to, I asked her back “are you sure??” LOL. Our personalities are very different, but our values and beliefs are so similar. I always think about how blessed I am to have Thao in my life. We laugh, we cry, we encourage, we vent, we hike, we give back, we enjoy boba/food and so much more together. She literally is my person. I am so happy that she also gets to do all these things with her other person, Chris, for the rest of her life. I love them both so much and can’t wait for my best friends to get married already! Suh dude!

9th grade algebra I think. I sat behind Christopher. Didn’t talk to him as I’m pretty stuck up. Then one day during tennis I found a wallet in a puddle. I looked inside and the ID says Darick Gilman. I had a niche for stealing so I kept the wallet until I realized they had the same last name, I used that opportunity to ask if they were related. After returning the wallet I would ask him a few questions here and there then I remember he was making fun of my $20 racket that was for like children. Not knowing anything about this guy or the fact that he had basically been a child prodigy haha. I don’t recall seeing him much or talking to him sophomore years but I know def junior year our circle of friends aligned and we’ve been close since.

I am Carlos and I met Thao about 3 weeks after I met my wife June :) Over the years I have discovered Thao is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I know and a great friend to June. She is clearly Chris's better half. I know this because Chris and I have become fast friends through our penchant for Filthy Frank videos, gaming, and the dankest of memes. How fun to celebrate a couple that has been a DECADE in the making to be officially official. I’ve known Thao since the awkward high school days, through UTA Nursing School (shout out Clusta K!), and then into our professional careers as nurses in the NICU (hey Baylor babes!). Thao is one of the most genuine and loyal friends that one could ever have and she has been with me through my highest highs and lowest lows. She is always #DTE. It has been an honor to watch this relationship blossom from almost the very beginning and develop into where it is now. I am SO honored that I get to stand behind you guys and witness this commitment to each other as you embark on this next chapter of your lives together. Hi! My name is My Cam. It is a huge privilege to be apart of Thao and Chris’ bridal party. How awesome is it that we get to be apart of each other’s wedding day?! I met Thao in college and I remember thinking this girl could out-eat anyone! She’s loyal and supportive and the kind of girlfriend that everyone needs in their life. She has the biggest heart and is always thinking of others. She’s motivated, intelligent beyond measure, so freakin creative, and a fashionista! Oh yes, let’s not forget she’s a dancing queen! Chris definitely won the lottery with this one! Through the years, we have shared so many happy memories, date nights, foodie adventures, sleepovers, and trips around the world. Hey y’all! My name is Julia, and I’m so excited and honored to be a part of Chris and Thao’s wedding! I met Thao when she started her nursing career in the NICU at Baylor, and we clicked pretty quickly. Whether it’s going on runs, eating food (we love food), or binging ridiculous shows on Netflix, we always have a great time with LOTS of laughter. She is also the best Auntie to Oliver! Chris is such a great guy, and matches my weird, dark sense of humor as well. I’m beyond happy for the happy couple and can’t wait for the big day!

My name is Elvin Ray Marcelino and I live in Los Angeles and I am one of Chris’ Groomsmen. I am currently a registered nurse in the Medical and Respiratory ICU and COVID ICU at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center. I attended The University of Texas at Arlington where I received my Bachelor in Science in Nursing. Before graduating, I have been Thao and Chris’ friend since my love of Bud Light during my early college years. My hobbies are gaming, building PCs, and dank memes. I was lucky enough to build my first gaming PC during the first wave of COVID. Chris and I would play CoD Warzone but if we die too much, we would just play Fall Guys. Congratulations Thao and Chris!!!!

I have known Thao for eight years after working in the NICU and taking care of tiny babies together. She pushes me to be a better person and expand my food horizons (I could eat PB&J errday). I am so thankful for the light that she has been in my life ever since walking into it!

Hey I'm Ryan and I grew up with Chris in Haltom City where we met playing tennis for Haltom High School. I became Chris' absurd friend who trolled way too much and then we became roommates throughout most of our undergrad at UT Austin. I've moved across Texas, Georgia, and Florida to go from semi-professional e-sports player, to a two time published molecular biologist, to working for national security, to currently being a data scientist. When I'm not injured from powerlifting for months or years at a time, I love powerlifting and also kayaking around Florida's rivers and along the coast.
