Museum of Illusions Washington DC

The Museum of Illusions is located in the heart of downtown Washington, just steps away from the iconic White House. With public transportation around every corner. Take the metro at Wiehle–Reston East Station, get the silver line and drop off at the Metro Center. You can walk from there to the Museum, or get the Red Line at Metro Center and drop off at the Gallery Place Station, which is a bit closer to the museum. The trip will take around 50 minutes and will cost max $6 ($12 round trip ticket).

Open 7 days a week - 11:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

Washington Monument

The tickets are distributed for free on the day you visit, but you can schedule them in advance for $1. It's open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, last tour begins at 4pm. There is a museum in Chantilly (which is close to where the wedding is going to happen) and there's a museum in Washington DC. Explore hundreds of the world’s most significant objects in aviation and space history. Free timed-entry passes are required for the Museum in DC.

Lake Anne Brew House

A nice brew house nearby right by Lake Ann.

Reston Farmers Market

There's a really good Farmer's Market that happens by the Lake Ann on Saturday mornings. Since the wedding is only in the afternoon, almost evening, going to the Farmer's Market could be a good call for the Saturday morning.

We suggest this restaurant for those who would like to try some Brazilian food, or Brazilians missing some churrasco. It's a bit pricy though.
