What should we wear/not wear?

Answer

Indian Formal Attire Please avoid the color green so we can highlight our immediate families and bridal party! We ask everyone to dress appropriately for the Holy Sacrament and for the Reception. We don't want any slip ups during the ceremony or on the dance floor!

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge, NY. The reception venue is a HOTEL. Our room block for Saturday night is in the SAME HOTEL :) This hotel is 55 min from Elmont, New Hyde Park, Floral Park, etc.

How far is it between the church and Hyatt?

Answer

Approximately 55 minutes. We suggest you arrange transportation or book at our hotel for after the reception so everyone can have the best time and a safe way to get home.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is a parking lot at the church and at Hyatt.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Since we're starting our new chapter at home, we haven't built a full, traditional registry. We have a few items listed on this website, otherwise we will have a gift box at the reception. No boxed gifts, please :)

Is there transportation?

Answer

We arranged transportation for guests staying at our hotels ON FRIDAY NIGHT to go to the church for the ceremony and back to the Hyatt for the reception.

What do we do between the wedding and reception?

Answer

Since there is a good amount of travel time (4-5pm) everyone can head straight to cocktail hour from the church. THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO CHECK INTO YOUR HOTEL ROOM.

When will we get time to check into the hotel on Saturday?

Answer

We'll be leaving the church by 4pm, getting to the venue by 5pm. This gives enough time to check into your hotel room and put your bags down so you can join cocktail hour around 5:30PM!
