Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking at The Church of Jesus Saviour: There is a parking lot available behind the church. If the parking lot becomes full, street parking is available on Broadway (which is in front of the Church), or on Vernon Avenue (Church side only). Parking at Newport Harbor Island Resort: There is a gated self-parking lot for guests to use. Self-parking is complimentary- whether guests are staying overnight, or only coming for our reception. Guests will enter the lot, pull a ticket and then will be able to scan their ticket at the kiosk at the hotel to validate it. Guests will then be able to exit the lot with that validated/complimentary ticket. Valet parking is also available for any guests – those who are staying overnight, and those just coming to the wedding reception. The valet rate for overnight guests is $45, and valet parking for event guests (no overnight stay) is $30.

Question

Can I take pictures at the church ceremony?

Answer

We are respectfully choosing to have an unplugged ceremony. We are so excited that you’ll be joining us, and we want you to relax and be fully present for our ceremony. We have wonderful photographers who will capture every moment! With this in mind, we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. As for the reception? Take plenty of pictures and feel free to share them! :)
