Devon and I met at a Dumbar high school Basketball game. We saw each other often because both the Jr Groomsman were on the same basketball team. I was the team mom and Devon was a faithful supporter of the team. Devon was drawn to my loud and outgoing personality. At 1st he thought I was ghetto but than was intrigued by my warming spirit. At Dumbar city championship game Devon decided he would ask me out for a drink after a sad lost. We exchanged numbers; and never made it for drinks. THE REST WAS HISTORY ; Our connection was instant our relationship has been tried and tested. God being the foundation has allowed us to with stand what could would have easily broken most couples. On March 31 2021 Devon prepared a surprise engagement party where he asked me to be his wife. It was such a remarkable beginning to a long lasting love story. Together we have five children whom they love dearly. Our goal is to set an example of love through the bond of man and woman as Christ being the center and foundation.
