David asked Teresa to be his wife on the rooftop of the Watergate hotel in Washington, DC just as the sun was setting over the Potomac River. Earlier that week, Teresa discovered a small, crumpled iconic blue bag from Tiffany and Co. on the floor in their bedroom so she knew that David probably bought the ring they found together several weeks prior. What ended up being the biggest surprise of the evening were the two ladies at a nearby table who sensed what was about to happen and gleefully captured the entire proposal on film!
