Best Man
Riley has been my friend since around second or third grade at United Local Schools in Ohio, and we've known each other ever since. There have been many fun times together from soccer, to gaming, bonfires, and late nights with friends watching movies and hanging out playing cards or ping pong. Even though we are adults with new families now, we're still able to get together every so often. I'm thankful for his friendship.
Groomsman
Adam is one of my many cousins. Being my family, I love him just as much as the rest, only difference is I see him around a lot more. He's also a farmer like me, so we get to talk about ideas and current farm things together. Adam is a friendly and relational guy who finds it easy to start a conversation. He is also faithfully involved at the church he attends with his family.
Groomsman
I met my mentor and friend, Joe in like 2017 when I was attending Youngstown State University, but it wasn't until I joined Chi Alpha (Christ ambassadors) (not a fraternity) that I really started to get to know him and vice-versa. Joe is the director of Chi Alpha at YSU. After I was no longer a student at YSU, I felt called to join Joe as a "volunteer staff" member along with another former student to be Joe's first ever staff crew where he mentored me as I grew in ministry.
Groomsman
I met Gabe shortly after becoming exclusive with Térèsa in 2021. Gabe is one of Teresa's five brothers. He is a very generous and hospitable person who is thoughtful, easygoing, and fun. It's always a good time when he's around for any occasion. Another cool thing about Gabe is his awesome ability to bake and cook various things that are delicious. He has also been very compassionate and supportive of Térèsa through the good and the bad.
Groomsman
John Paul is another one of Teresa's Brothers. He is a very charismatic guy who knows how to have fun. He has also let me stay at his house many times when I have visited Michigan. I appreciate his generosity and his support of Térèsa and me in our relationship. JP has a lot of experience being a groomsman in many weddings, which speaks to his supportive and kind character. I look forward to more memories made in the future.
Groomsman
Thomas is Térèsa’s brother who is just about a year younger than her. They have shared a lot of life together and have lots of memories together including learning how to swim, riding bikes, traveling missionaries together for a summer, art classes etc. Thomas is a generous gentle soul who is silent but deadly with an amazing sense of humor an incredible amount patience. We look forward to having him as part of our wedding party and many fun time together in the future!
Groomsman
Andrew is a friend I've gained recently within the past couple years since I started attending Winona friends church and the Bible study he leads. Not only is he a friend but I also consider him a mentor since he's a few steps ahead of me in life and the associate pastor at WFC. We've had many fun and deep conversations at the local sofa bar Kast Iron Sodaworks, (my favorite place) and here's hoping for many more.
Matron of Honor
Moire is Térèsa’s *young* Matron of Honor. They met while Moire was dating a good friend of Térèsa’s and became close friends as bridesmaids in another friend’s wedding party. They have similar personalities and understand each other in a special way. Here’s to kindred spirits and tearing up while laughing!
Bridesmaid
Shannon and Térèsa met at age sixteen on a silent retreat, became friends in the silence, and connected immediately during their first conversation. Since then, they have been long-distance besties, seeing each other once a year only up until recently. Here’s to long-time long-distance friendships
Bridesmaid
Ashely is Térèsa’s oldest sister and longest friend. They are mistaken for each other often because of their matching curls. From sharing a bunk bed and going on childhood adventures to sharing life and going on adult adventures, Ashley has always inspired Térèsa to try new things. Here’s to the rest of their lives as friends and adventure buddies!
Bridesmaid
Ally has been a lifelong friend of Cody’s because she is his little sister. Térèsa and Ally met at a Panera for the first time and had soup together on Super Bowl Sunday. Fun fact: Cody and Térèsa’s first date was at the Panera where Ally worked at the time. Thanks for the suggestion, Ally! Here’s to soup and new sisters in law!
Bridesmaid
Bethany is a good friend of Térèsa’s. With lots of mutual friends growing up they were meant to find each other! Making friends as young adults isn’t easy but it was with these two and life is better for it. Térèsa has always been struck by Bethany’s passion and determination so here’s to sweet friends with fiery hearts
Bridesmaid
Mary and Térèsa have been friends since they were six or seven years old. They met at Christ the King Church and were in choir, girls group and youth group together growing up. They grew apart then started hanging out together again as adults. Here’s to many more years of friendship, Mexican food and inside jokes

Katherine and Térèsa met in youth ministry as Katherine was in middle / high school. Térèsa was a small group leader for Katherine and a leader for the whole group. Bonding over our shared faith community and love for God since. Katherine and Jacob (Térèsa’s youngest brother) are engaged to be married soon after Cody and Térèsa, in July of 2024. Here’s to sisters in law and sharing life together!
Junior Bridesmaid
Sonya and Térèsa have a special relationship. Sonya is Térèsa’s goddaughter! Térèsa’s mother, Polly, has been a mentor and friend to Jennifer (Sonya’s mother) and Jennifer has been a mentor and confirmation sponsor for Térèsa who, in turn is Sonya’s godmother. Whenever they get together it’s a beautiful sharing of faithful women from different age groups and it feels like family.
