Things To Do

Since many of our guests wil be visiting Oregon for the first time, Chris and I want to share some of our favorite spots here.

Portland Art Museum

1219 Southwest Park Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

Highly recommend this for anyone spending time in Portland!

International Rose Test Garden

400 Southwest Kingston Avenue, Portland, OR 97205

The rose garden is completely free and is beyond gorgeous. The Japanese Garden is right next door as well -- it does charge admission, but absolutely worth it.

Sandy River Delta

Thousand Acres Road, Troutdale, OR 97060

A beautiful park featuring a very chilly mountain river. Dogs are welcomed! Please be careful as the Sandy River is significantly colder than others in the area.

Pine State Biscuits | Division

1100 Southeast Division Street, Portland, OR 97202

A brunch spot favorite of ours -- there are two other locations as well depending on where you're staying. Just note that the lines get very long on the weekends, so we recommend going on a weekday or early in the morning on a weekend.

Lil' America Food Pods

1015 Southeast Stark Street, Portland, OR 97214

Food carts are a staple in Portland, and you'll find several other pods around the city. This place is a favorite because of Bake on the Run, which is the only Guyanese restaurant in all of the west coast. Features vegan and vegetarian food.

For all the days along the way
