This is one of Natalie's favorite spots in Duluth, so of course she took Alex here on his first visit to Duluth. 
It provides direct access to the Lakewalk with free parking in a small lot or along the street (check if meters are in effect). It's about a 1.5 mile walk along the Lakewalk down to the Canal Park Lift Bridge. Stop and get a malt from the Portland Malt Shoppe along the way!
