Jelly Belly Candy Store

This is a fun, kid-friendly place to visit. After the tour, you can purchase jelly beans of any flavor imaginable!

Scandia Golfand

A fun place for the whole family! You can ride go-karts, play in the arcade, or play a round of mini-golf among other activities.

Wooden Valley Winery

Although Napa is only 15 miles away, Fairfield also offers a selection of wineries!

PIER 39

The little shops are always fun to visit, the restaurants, but especially their aquarium! And it's walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf :) We also recommend hopping on a double decker tour of the city or hopping on a mini cruise from bridge to bridge!

Alcatraz Island

I have yet to visit this notorious former prison, but be sure to book in advance as tours are often booked weeks out!

Bodega Bay

Rodeo Beach Coastal Trailhead

It's a lovely beach with walking trails, but be sure to check the weather first! It's often overcast and cool (unless you're lucky and go on a warm, sunny day!).

Nut Tree Road

This is a great place to eat, shop, and play! There is a large collection of big-name stores, as well as boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, and a great play area with a carousel for people of all ages!

Domaine Chandon

This winery has beautiful gardens, and it's home of the unique sparking red wine!

Castello di Amorosa

The legendary castle winery! You can book a full tour of the castle, or just walk around their gardens and common areas (like the dining hall, viewing tower, and courtyard) and head to the tasting. A popular one is La Fantasia, which is a Rose with notes of berries, pomegranate, and plum.

Bangkok Paradise

This is THE best Thai restaurant in the area! Ian's favorite is the mild Crab Pad Thai, and my favorite is the spicy Drunken Noodles. They are super friendly, and are willing to customize their dishes!

San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

This multi-story museum offers internationally recognized collection of modern and contemporary art, and was the first museum on the West Coast devoted solely to 20th-century art!
