Please RSVP by May 1st, 2025. If we don't hear from you by then, unfortunately we'll have to mark you down as declining. Hope you can join us!
Due to capacity limits at our ceremony and reception venue, the only children at our wedding are those in the wedding party and immediate family of the bride and groom. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening.
At this time we will not be serving alcohol. We will have light refreshments after the ceremony in place of a typical cocktail hour.
Since we opted not to have a licensed bartender, absolutely no alcohol is permitted on property. This includes at the reception, or outside on the venue grounds. This is due to Michigan’s alcohol regulations for venues, and there is a fine if found with alcohol. Thank you for your cooperation.
Please no photography (phone or camera) during the ceremony. While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.
First and foremost your presence is the greatest gift! With buying our first home together, along with our little bundle of joy on the way, there are some items we would love to help in our new home. We've created a registry for those interested in helping us build our new home together, you can find it located in our wedding website (click the three lines at the top, and select registry). If shopping in store, please remember to mark your gift “purchased” to avoid duplicates.
Due to limited venue space, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond those listed on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding.
We ask guests to dress in dressy casual. Jeans are completely acceptable. Our desire is for all of our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy the evening without any unnecessary mishaps. While we appreciate everyones individual style and fashion choices, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing white attire on our special day.
We are planning for an indoor wedding and reception, however the farm grounds will be open to our guests. Weather permitting, guests may enjoy the beautiful scenery and mingle at the reception in the outdoor seating areas. Please keep in mind that this is a farm venue, so dress accordingly (you might want to leave those stilettos or thin heels at home).
Guests will be seated and ceremony beginning at 2:00pm. We ask you arrive around 1:30 to mingle, sign our guest book, and get settled before the ceremony.
Yes! We have both regular parking, as well as limited handicap parking. There will be signage at the venue to direct where to park.
To try and accommodate as many diets, and taste pallets, we have decided to go with a classic taco bar. This pays homage to Katie’s childhood upbringing in a Hispanic influenced town in California.
Absolutely! We do ask for an unplugged ceremony, but we would love to see all the fun pictures from the reception! Feel free to tag us, and use the wedding hashtag #TeamJacobs2025
