We're Getting Married!

We first met while Taylor was interning at Marc Jacobs and Logan came in for a casting the summer of 2011. We had a mutual friend, Dennis, who set up drinks that evening. Logan tried to get to know Taylor better that night but Taylor was unaware and left early. The following week, Taylor invited Logan and Dennis to meet her and her friends after work. Dennis wasn't able to make it so Logan asked if he could come on his own. Taylor asked her friends to flirt with Logan since she didn't know him all that well and he wasn't her usual "type". Taylor felt a tap on her shoulder and when she turned around she saw Logan standing there, smiling at her with a glisten in his blue green eyes. At that moment, Taylor turned back to her friends and whispered, "don't flirt with him!". Logan and Taylor spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other. Logan was leaving the following week to spend the rest of his summer in Germany and wasn't set to arrive back in New York until after Taylor was back in Louisiana. Ever the romantic, Logan flew back a week early to surprise Taylor before she left. We spent the next few months flying back and forth to visit each other until Taylor officially moved to New York a week after graduating from LSU in January 2012.

We were in New Orleans for our friends' Saree and Toby's wedding. The morning after the wedding was Taylor's 27th birthday so Logan took her to Brennan's for a birthday brunch. After brunch we wandered around the French Quarter taking in the sights on a gloomy day. We came across a beautiful garden and decided to check it out. When we walked in there was a guitarist playing and the sun finally came out. Logan suggested we walk around the garden to enjoy the music and the sun. After a minute or two the guitarist began playing Taylor's favorite song, "Tiny Dancer". Taylor realized something was going on and looked up at Logan who had tears streaming down his face. He got down on one knee and proposed and the rest is history.
