We are absolutely thrilled to share the beauty of Martha's Vineyard during it's high season with you! Please note, as it is peak season, please reserve your hotel as early as possible. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Ahmad; he is looking forward to assisting/chatting with folks :-). The Bride, Groom and wedding party are staying at The Winnetu. The Winnetu is a suite-style hotel that sleeps five per room and we strongly encourage sharing suites to save on costs. We strongly recommend staying in Edgartown or Oak Bluffs, where the ceremony and reception are and our town, respectively. There are six towns on the island, each with different personalities, several towns are dry towns (not including Edgartown and Oak Bluffs). Edgartown is more expensive of the two suggested towns and Oak Bluffs has a more casual, fun vibe. If you have a large group, it may be more affordable to rent a house for the weekend than to rent separate hotel rooms.

Winnetu Oceanside Resort

The Winnetu is where we're staying and where we'll host the reception. The ceremony is on South Beach directly across from the resort. The resort features one bedroom suites that sleep five with full kitchens and large porches overlooking the ocean or opening out to the large lawn, depending on your choice of ground or second floor. The resort is family friendly and has various activities to keep you busy or relaxed during your visit: short walk with quick beach access, large lawn overlooking the ocean with Adirondack chairs and lake, pool, hot tub, hotel bar, activity room with games, gift and food shop, life size chess board, yoga on the lawn, tennis courts, table tennis, bikes, and more! The rate is $395/night plus tax, but please let us know if you're interested in sharing accommodations with other wedding guests. The room block closes May 28th.

Summercamp Hotel

We've reserved a second room block at The Summercamp Hotel in downtown Oak Bluffs. The Summercamp is a fresh and fun renovation of the historic Wesley Hotel that overlooks the sparkling blue harbor in the center of Oak Bluffs. This Hotel is the largest ocean-front hotel on Martha’s Vineyard — featuring one bedroom suites with private baths and loads of summer vacation-style fun and relaxation. The rates start at $309 per night, depending on water views; the suites sleep up to 4 folks. The room block closes on July 7, 2018.

Getting to Martha's Vineyard - Driving + Ferry

There are many ways to travel to Martha's Vineyard. Please click the link above provided by the Winnetu. For a long weekend visit, we typically drive to Woods Hole, MA, park the car at one of the Steamship Authority parking lots, and take the ferry to the island. You can choose a ferry to Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven though OB is technically closer to the Winnetu, either is fine - it's a small island! The drive from NYC is about 4.5 hours. Parking costs $15 per day, credit and debit are accepted and there are free shuttle buses from the parking lot to the ferry docks. The ferry cost is $17 round trip per person (www.steamshipauthority.com). If you miss your planned Ferry for some reason and arrive after the last boat leaves; the Patriot Boat is a private water shuttle (http://patriotpartyboats.com/water-shuttle/;508-548-2626) that is the best back up option. The price depends on the number of folks needing a ride but it is on the pricey side since they operate all night.

Getting to Martha's Vineyard - From Boston's Logan Airport

If you're flying into Boston's Logan Airport, there are multiple daily buses on Peter Pan bus lines from Logan to Woods Hole, where you catch the ferry to the island. The trip is approximately 2.5 hours and the cost is approximately $35 OW. peterpanbus.com

After Party Wedding Shuttle (to Oak Bluffs)

September 10, 2018 4:00 pm - 4:00 pm

This is a discounted shuttle service we've organized for the wedding after party from the reception at the Winnetu to downtown Oak Bluffs. Guests who need to leave the island following the wedding (we're sad to see you leave!) should plan to take the shuttle as well and walk across the street to the Oak Bluffs ferry at 6:15 pm.

Atlantic Taxi and Our Taxi

Forget Uber and Lyft, neither really work on island, but not to worry, call an island taxi! The island offers shared large van taxi service: Atlantic Taxi (508) 693-7110 and Your Taxi (508) 693-0003.

Public Bus

Use the Vineyard Transit Authority (VTA) bus to get around the island. The lowest cost option, the buses can be hailed and stopped by request.
