Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We will send invitations by early 2024, which will include RSVP forms. Please RSVP no later than July 1, 2024. Earlier is very much appreciated! You can RVSP through this website with Zola, on the RSVP tab. You can also mail back the RSVP card that will be included with invitations. Just one form of RSVP (online or mailing the card back) is fine! If you RSVP and then something comes up later, it is completely understandable! If this happens, please text Rachel at (502) 291-7069, by August 1st.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 3-3:45pm for 4pm ceremony start time! When you arrive, follow the path outside on the left side of the building. It will lead you to our outdoor ceremony site on the backside of the building, and the reception will follow inside. Please sit on either side! We also please ask that no one uses cell phones during the ceremony, including for pictures. We have an amazing photo and video crew that will handle all of the pictures so our guests can be in the moment during our ceremony! Please take as many pictures as you want during the reception after the ceremony is ended.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code will be cocktail (semi formal to formal). No blue jeans, please! We’d love to see our guests get dressed up with us as you are able! If you want to match us you can wear terracotta/oranges, navy, champagnes/golds, neutrals, pinks, blues, or greens! Bridesmaids will be wearing a pinky rust/terracotta & groomsmen are wearing tan.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If your invitation has a plus one on it, we would love for them to come with you! Unfortunately to accommodate everyone in our venue (we are at max capacity and all tables used!!), we can only accommodate people that were given a plus one on your invitation. If your invitation does not specify a plus one, or limits children, we are so sorry and it is because of venue space limitations. We are so lucky to have so many people in our lives we love, but unfortunately we have had to limit plus ones because of this!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love all your kids! If they are listed on your invitation, please bring them along. Due to space limitations, if your invitation does not specify children, we encourage you to take it as a date night. ✨ Please know that the reception music will transition toward more adult-centered and upbeat songs after 8:30 pm. There will be alcohol available at the reception so please keep this in mind with little eyes and ears! Invited children are more than welcome, but unattended children will be given a red bull and a dance floor solo ;)

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outside behind our reception venue, and then our reception will move inside to the AC-cooled reception venue on-site. The entire site is wheelchair accessible, as well. For the ceremony itself, please sit on either side you want. We are asking that the first 2 rows are left open for immediate family members! Those seats will have reserved signs on them.

Will there be drinks available?

Answer

We will have open bar service with wine, beer, & “signature drink” cocktail options. This will also include non-alcoholic options of water, sweet tea, lemonade, sodas and limited mocktails. Please please find a ride home/to your hotel if you will be drinking, and drink responsibly. Drinks are on us, hangover is on you ;) If you have kids coming with you, please know there will be alcohol present at the reception and that more adult oriented music will be played after around 8:30! They are welcome and we love them, we just ask you to use your best discretion with kids as the night goes on.

Will I need to drive from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception are in the same place! Ceremony is on the backside of the venue outdoors, and the reception will be inside. Once Rachel & Wade and their families + bridal party exit the ceremony, it will be announced when guests can go inside for the start of cocktail hour!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are many hotel recommendations in the “travel” tab of our website that has suggestions for in Richmond. Lexington is a further drive, but it also has many hotels. There are also AirBnb’s in the greater Richmond area, just keep in mind they may be more expensive. We are trying to get hotel blocks reserved too.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue has plenty of parking available for free in the front of the venue as you pull in.

Will there be any transport to and from hotels?

Answer

We are still seeing if there is a shuttle service we will hire, but there are Ubers in Richmond as well. Your hotel may also offer a shuttle. Please use a ride share service/shuttle like Uber if you plan on drinking! If we find a shuttle service, we are going to book, we will update that here!

Are you registered? Where should I ship/bring any gifts?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon + Target, as well as through Zola. There is a tab on this website called “Registry” with links for both. Please contribute what you can, we are just grateful for your presence. There is a cash fund on Zola, which is set up as a give-what-you-wish fund that will go to our married life. If you wish to contribute to this instead of a traditional gift, it is preferred! We would love contributions to our cash fund over most physical gifts. Thank you for anything, we love you.

We are trying to be mindful of our gluten free guests, as well as offering non-meat options.
