FAQs

The Wedding Website of Taylor Hoffman and Trevor Thomas
A few questions you may have with some answers!
Question

Where is the Venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception is at the Swallow family lake house in Casco Bay on Lake Coeur d’ Alene. The lake house is boat access only, and all guests will take a cruise boat provided by us. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm.

Question

Directions to the Venue?

Answer

The venue is accessed via boat only (you cannot drive your car there). We have reserved one of the resort cruise boats to shuttle everyone to/from the venue. Guests will be responsible for finding parking in downtown Coeur d’ Alene and getting on the boat near the 3rd Street docks. The closest parking is at McEuen Park near the 3rd Street boat launch with a short walk down the boardwalk ramp to the loading area.

Question

What time will guests return to town via resort cruise boat?

Answer

There are two return boats to choose from. The first will leave the venue at 8pm, and the second will leave the venue at 10:30pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is a summer semi-formal. Keep in mind, we are getting married outside in September at around 3:30 pm and both the ceremony and reception will be in the grass. The sun will most likely set around 7 pm, so bring something warm for the nighttime!

Question

What are we eating for dinner?

Answer

Las Brasas will be catering our wedding! We are having street tacos with rice and beans. There are two options, shredded beef and chicken. There will be a chip and salsa bar as well. Salad will also be provided.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Since our wedding is a smaller area and, on the water, we are very sorry, but we are keeping our special day as an adult-only occasion. ** Infants are an exception

For all the days along the way
