Matron of Honor
I am lucky to call this amazing woman my sister. Many miles and states have separated us most of our adult lives, but Ashley never feels far away. She is always available to chat with me even when those phone calls last 10x longer than they were intended. I am so happy to have her by my side for this special day.
Best Man
I can't quite remember how I met Ian....he just always seems to have been there throughout my life. It's easy to say that you're close to your twin brother, but this bond hasn't been broken even in adulthood.
Bridesmaid
Brooke and I got to be good friends while sitting on the sidelines watching our boys play baseball. We always joke that no matter where Brooke goes she always knows someone, which isn't a surprise being both super friendly and a teacher. If you know ASL let her know and she will be more than happy to have a full on conversation with you.
Groomsman
Adam is another man I met after college. I never thought I'd meet another person who shares as much of my sense of humor as he does. He and his wife quickly turned into a couple of our closest friends.
Bridesmaid
I met Erika during open house when our boys were in second grade. Since then I don't think I have spent a Halloween or New Year's anywhere else, well outside of Covid that is. We have a great time cheering on our boys from the soccer sideline and am so excited to have her by my side to celebrate with us.
Groomsman
I met Andrew in High School. We've been through a lot since then. We went to the same college and he was even my T.A. for a class (still mad about being 4 points away from that A). He has introduced me to many of my friends and we were roommates for 4 years up until our amicable split.
Bridesmaid
Anna-Lise and I met through her sister, Erika. There is no denying that it is always a good time when she is around, evidenced by our annual Train Crawl she plans. She is a wonderful friend and full on animal lover. (She is 100% Layla approved.) And as the self-proclaimed Phoebe of the group, it is guaranteed she will only add to the fun of our wedding.
Groomsman
I met Matt during my "crazy" years in accounting school. Although...we were once lured into a strange van under the promise of free beer. I argue that I am a bigger Cub fan than he is, but he's definitely less angry about it.
Bridesmaid
Rachel is my future sister-in-law. She has such a wonderful, bubbly personality you can’t help but love to be around. Over the years, we have found so many things we have in common, most recently our preferred preference of sweet, fruity wines. I am so happy to have her energetic presence be part of our day.
Groomsman
Affectionately goes by J-WOW. I may or may not be the only one to call him that. I met him in 2016 and he's been one of my closest friends since. He's one of the very few people I've met who I can say is always there for his friends.
Flower Girl
Ring Bearer
Usher
A man I met "later" in life. Nick has one of the most joyous faces and personalities that I've ever met. I couldn't help but making him one of the first faces of our wedding.
Usher
I met him through my groomsman, Andrew. He has put together one of the best friend groups that we have ever seen and much of that group will be joining us for our big day. I've asked him to be an usher as a good friend of ours, but also to help maintain civility of said group through the ceremony.
Officiant
I've always looked up to my brother, Carl. Even today, he's always the first person I look to for advice, which is why we asked him to officiate our wedding.
