We’re getting married!

Shaun and Taylor officially met when they were still in high school. With Taylor being a small town bartender, she saw Shaun around quite a bit. It wasn’t until 2019 when Shaun got the courage to reach out to Taylor. Their first date was drinks at a local bar. Things progressed naturally between them as they learned they had very similar hobbies and goals.

Shaun officially proposed on hole 9 at Huron Shores Golf Course. He knew that Taylor would not expect it on a week-day, so he booked a late tee time on a random Wednesday night. Taylor thought he was acting a little odd once they hit hole 7, but was ultimately not prepared for him to hit one knee while she was driving the ball. Afterwards, they headed north to tell both of their parents in person.
