Carmel-by-the-Sea
Carmel-by-the-Sea is very walkable! The best way to take in the Carmel experience is to walk its beautifully maintained streets and avenues. The main artery is Ocean Avenue, the road that stretches from Highway 1 to the pristine sands of Carmel Beach. Keep an eye out for the many unobtrusive entrances that lead to charming courtyards and passageways & search for the early twentieth century whimsical fairy-tale-style cottages! Carmel also offers tons of shopping, restaurants, wine tasting, art exhibits and much more! We are so excited to share one of our favorite towns with you!

Visit the historic Carmel Mission! The Carmel Mission is one of the most authentically-restored of the chain of 21 California Missions, originally built in 1770 and brought back to its original glory in the 1940s.
