There is an old rule of thumb…never date your coworkers. We are a prime example that sometimes it isn’t the worst idea! We met years ago while we were both working at Fleet Farm. A fun fact that a lot of people don’t know is that we COULD NOT stand each other at first! That is until we actually got to know each other, and we realized we weren’t all that bad! We bonded over similar things that we were each going through in life and realized we had a lot more in common than we could’ve guessed. Once we started hanging out outside of work things changed! We shared our first kiss at midnight to ring in the year 2018, and the rest is history!
Sneaky...sneaky....sneaky... The proposal happened on a spring break trip to visit the Matron of Honor and her family. I had talked to Danielle and had her do some of the planning and she nailed it! At the end of a day of beautiful sightseeing I was down on one knee! Taylor thought we were just taking a couple more pictures at the last spot of the day, little did she know she was going to leave there with a fiancé!
As you all know. Josh was deployed and that shifted our plans a little. We were planning to get married, the traditional, first and only wedding. Then deployment happened and we decided it would make sense to us to get married earlier than planned. We got married with our family and some close friends by our sides. Now we're ready for the big celebration!
