Our Happy Hour

Jake and Taylor originally met in 2016 when he came to visit her hometown of St. Augustine, FL. He was on a weekend trip with her cousin Kyle who he went to college with in Boca Raton, about 4 hours away. During the weekend Jake and Taylor laughed and spent a ton of time together, making memories that they had no clue would lead them to where they are today. Once Jake graduated and moved back to Texas, Taylor and him kept in contact some via texting and social media. It wasn't until Jake came back to Florida to visit on February 19th, 2019 that he and Taylor met up again. From that moment on they couldn't wait to see each other again. Taylor first visited Texas in May of 2019, and from there they traveled back and forth from Texas to Florida a total of 9 times before Jake asked Taylor to pack up her things and move to Texas with him. They left together on June 4th, 2020. After settling into living together with their new lives in Texas, Jake decided it was time to make things official. On November 24th, 2021, Jakes family and Taylor were on their way to Las Vegas to spend the Thanksgiving holiday together. Little did Taylor know that upon boarding the plane her life was going to be changed forever. With a beautiful song playing, champagne, and rose petals waiting, Jake got on one knee and asked Taylor to spend the rest of her life with him. "Yes" has never left her mouth quicker. The most fun part is - this is just the beginning.
