Look good, feel good, dance great! For men, please wear a suit or collared shirt, dress pants/slacks, closed toe shoes. For women, formal medium to long length dress. Please refrain from wearing colors typically reserved for the bride such as whites and creams. You will have time after the ceremony and before the reception to change shoes or put your suit jacket away.
The resort is all-inclusive for food and drinks but this does not include if you’d like to tip or purchase anything at the shops on site. Most people tip pool waiters around $20/day, $10 for dinners, etc, anything is appreciated by the staff!
You can if you want but it’s also not necessary! The conversion rate is easy to do and they accept dollars. Most places also accept card.
Our welcome party will be cocktail attire and bright colors are encouraged! Men can wear collared shirts and shorts. Women can wear summer dresses.
Danielle our travel agent will be sending out emails to arrange transportation. She will try to pair people together who arrive on the same day/time to save money. The airport is about an hour away from the resort. If you do not hear from her, please send her an email to arrange. It is very chaotic trying to get a taxi if you do not have one prearranged!
Pack your party suit, duh! Here’s some basics to pack: -Swimsuits -Dinner outfits (most restaurants require a collared shirt for men) -Sunglasses/hats -SPF (they have some available to purchase but usually it’s more expensive) -Ziplock of medicine (Tylenol, Tums, hangover cure, etc)
Absolutely! Obviously, please don’t leave on the day of our wedding but otherwise you are free to roam! This is your vacation too! Danielle, our travel agent, can set up excursions for you. Explor and Xcaret are my two favorites. You can also take a taxi into Playa Del Carmen to explore the shops. Or take a taxi to see the ancient Mayan Ruins!
Though not required, we recommend making dinner reservations at least two weeks BEFORE you arrive, in order to ensure you get your desired time and restaurant. You can make reservations through the Unico app, 30 days prior to your arrival. You can also make reservations via email at prearrivalhost@unicohotelrm.com. **They do take walk-ins and reservations while on the resort- booking ahead ensures larger groups can eat together**
Yes! You should download the Unico 2087 app on your App Store. It has tons of information, daily activities are posted, restaurant and room service menus, spa information, property map, etc. This is also where you can make dinner reservations.
