Wedding Party

Without these family and friends, this day wouldn't be possible! Make sure to show them some love as well

Taylor R. Martin

Bride

Taylor was born in Georgia, went to school in Alabama, and has lived off and on in Florida since her graduation. A lover of all things film and TV, she has spent countless hours regaling those around her with trivia that they didn't ask for and won't remember. Much like her favorite animal, the sloth, she enjoys doing nothing, and will do so at any opportunity.

Cayle Holt

Groom

Cayle was born and raised in Florida, but he has traveled the world. From hiking dangerous trails in California and Utah, to climbing the steps of Japanese temples, Cayle has seen how beautiful the world can be. A lover of cars and food, he has a seemingly endless wealth of knowledge. Cayle is the love of Taylor's dog's life, and he's the best man that Taylor could have asked for.

Jamie Martin

Maid of Honor

Jamie is Taylor's sister, oldest enemy, and best friend. Armed with quick wit and a quicker lead foot, she brings joy and humor wherever she goes. A lover of classics and westerns, Jamie's hobbies include reading about Greek heroes such as Achilles, and mourning such great heroes as Arthur Morgan. A beautiful and strong soul, there is no way Taylor would have made it this far without her little sister's encouragement and support. After many sleepless nights, telling Taylor to just "suck it up and ask him out already," she has agreed to do Taylor the honor of being her Maid of Honor. There's no one more perfect for this position than she is.

Ben Holt

Best Man

Friend, brother, and best man to the groom is Benjamin Holt. Outgoing and immensely talented, Ben has always been able to form friendships wherever he goes. He is a loving brother that follows his heart and does what makes him happy.

Allen W. Martin Jr.

Father of the Bride

One of the lucky few to be born in the great state of Alabama, Allen shared his love of football with his oldest daughter. They spent many hours in their living room, celebrating the (many) wins, and mourning the (very few) losses of their precious Crimson Tide. A proud and fair man, Allen was more than a father to Taylor. He was also an inspiration. After watching him love her mother for her entire life, she knew she would never settle for anyone who didn't love her as much as he loved her mom. He showed her how to love and be loved, and his message of "Family comes first, there's nothing more important than family," is something that has carried her throughout her adult life. It's only fitting that he'll be her escort into the start of this new chapter.

Wendy A. Martin

Mother of the Bride

Anyone who knows Wendy knows that she was an incredible light, and that she sparked joy and love wherever she went. She was a brilliant and beautiful soul, and even though she only passed on a fraction of that beauty to her daughters, it’s more than some people encounter in their life time. She had the chance to meet Cayle once, and even though she was still very ill, she made him feel welcomed and loved. Her presence will be missed, but we know she will be there in spirit. She wouldn’t miss this for the world.

Debbie Zaira

Mother of the Groom

A mother that has a son who is proud to call her his mom. She’s helped shape me into the man I am now; which, I hope to give the same immeasurable love and kindness she showed me growing up, to my soon to be wife.

Gregory Holt

Father of the Groom

Father of the groom is Greg Holt, an extraordinary man who’s led a life equal to the quality of his character. He has always given care and support for his family. Providing amazing memories and valuable knowledge for each of his children to grow into amazing individuals that he can all be proud of.

Dominique Zimmerman

Officiant

Dominique also met Taylor and Cayle at the poker room in Gretna, where she was a quiet but instrumental part in getting them together. As Taylor's work-wife, she supported her through one of the most difficult times in her life, stepping up when it wasn't required, and being there when it felt like everything was crashing down. Having her officiate their wedding is truly an honor, and Taylor and Cayle are more grateful than words will ever be able to say.
