What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional. We kindly ask men to wear a tuxedo or dark suit with a tie & women wear an evening gown with summer colors encouraged!

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venues?

Answer

We recommend using Lyft or Uber to get to the church and reception venue. Following the reception, there will be a shuttle bus transporting guests from the venue back to the Ambassador and Westin. It will make trips starting at 9:30pm with a final shuttle at 11:45pm to the hotels and after party.

Will parking be available at the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is NO onsite parking at Theatre on the Lake. For those that would like to drive, there is street parking on Cannon Drive and parking lots around the Lincoln Park Zoo or you can valet your car at The Ambassador and take the shuttle bus back to the hotel at the end of the evening.

Will parking be available at the church?

Answer

St. Clement Church has free parking available for guests attending the ceremony. Located on the south side of Deming Place, across the street from the church.

What time should I arrive to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests arrive at 2:45pm. Allow extra time for Air & Water Show traffic. Our wedding ceremony will start promptly at 3pm.

What should I do between the wedding ceremony and reception.

Answer

There is a little over an hour between the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. During this time, we encourage our guests to stay in the Lincoln Park area as the church and reception venue are only 0.5 miles from each other. Some places we recommend to grab a drink within 2-3 blocks of the church: Burwood Tap - 724 W Wrightwood Ave Gaslight - 2450 N Clark St Briny Swine - 2577 N Clark St Galway Arms - 2442 N Clark St

Are children invited?

Answer

We love our little ones however, we have decided to keep our wedding an 18 and over event. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring a date/ plus-one?

Answer

We're excited to celebrate this day with our closest people! We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
