Zach and I met through mutual friends while both volunteering with Charlotte Young Life. We were headed to a weekend camp trip with our high schoolers in November 2018, and we started dating March 2019. We dated long-distance all of 2020 from Charlotte to Raleigh, NC while Zach was working on a project with Duke Energy in Raleigh, and we have many special memories from that year. Zach popped the question during a surprise trip to Charleston, South Carolina on December 12, 2020. My favorite movie is The Notebook, which was filmed in Charleston. Zach planned an itinerary around town to visit the filming locations and proposed at Boone Hall Plantation, Allie's (Rachel McAdams) summer home in the movie! Pictured below :) We are back to living in Charlotte and are looking forward to many walks with our goldendoodle Graham, foodie adventures, exploring coffee shops, walks on the greenway, Orangetheory dates, and planning all of our future travels. We are thankful for the ways that the Lord has cared for us and weaved our stories together. So excited to celebrate with you on October 9th!
