Number one and only sister Kayla has been Jess's partner in crime since day one. As opposite as these two are, they are two peas in a pod. Their sense of humor, flare for the dramatics, and overall antics are misunderstood by many, although entertaining to all. If they are in conversation, good luck getting a word in. Like one mind, these two speak a special sibling language and can create laughs and pure fun out of any circumstance. It was Kayla and her growing family that brought Jess back to California in a hurry. Spending time with her and her family, especially nephew Aiden and niece Marlowe, has filled a space in Jess's heart that she never knew was there. As they say, Auntie life is the best and thanks to little sister Kayla, this is now Jess's reality. They may not have chosen to be in each others lives, but given the chance, there is no other choice they would make.

Anne-Lise and Jess have known each other for close to 10 years now and have lived in both California and Florida together. They began their friendship with Napa Valley's finest wine bars and restaurants, outdoor BBQ's and pool parties, and self-led home cooking classes. When Jess decided to move to West Palm Beach, Florida, Anne-Lise was shortly after offered a job in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and the two besties were reunited! Switching out backyard BBQ's and wine bars for white sand beaches and dancing the night away in Miami Beach, the two left their mark on The Sunshine State. Flash forward to Jess deciding to move back home to California, Anne-Lise joined her for an epic cross-country road trip and ultimately found herself moving back to California a year later. Back and forth across the United States, Anne-Lise and Jess have countless memories together and many more to come.
Aryn Ehlow

This story begins all the way back in elementary school where Aryn and Jess first became friends. They played softball together, went to slumber parties together and Jess always affectionately referred to Aryn's parents as M2 and D2, Mom#2 and Dad#2. Even when Aryn moved to the East Coast for college, Jess remained close with the whole family, many times joining her parents for dinner as stand-in daughter. Although Aryn has lived on the East Coast ever since, there is a connection that binds these two lifelong friends and they are able to pick up where they left off regardless of how much time has passed. Aryn joined Jess for the most interesting part of her cross-country road trip, checking out states like West Virginia, Kentucky, and Missouri. Nothing like a classy Missouri wine tasting for two Napa Valley natives. It's always a good time, filled with laughs and sarcasm when these ladies get together.
Jake Baumbach

Tayler and Jake met at Sonoma State University where Tayler coached the triathalon team. The two raced triathalons together for years after and ultimately their workouts and training's developed into a lasting friendship. This candid shot is from a trip to Yosemite that Tayler and Jake took; Tayler's two canine companions insisted on crashing the party. Jake not only puts up with the hound dog & chihuaua but is the kind of friend that provided shelter during evacuations from fires and also that ran alongside Tayler up a glacier to make sure he didn't die. You know you have a true friend when they are willing to try to keep up with you as you race up the side of an ice covered mountain in Alaska.

What started as riding pals has now become partners in crime. There's not an illegal trail in Sonoma County that these two haven't smashed. Enter Covid and the dynamic duo got major quality time as they decided to ride up the same road as many times as it took to equal the elevation of Mt. Everest. According to Tayler, it took approximately a really long time. These friends enjoy a challenge and pushing themselves to their near limits. They love comparing notes and stats of their workouts and scheming up inventive and ridiculously long routes all over Northern California. Everyone needs that crazy friend that is up for anything, especially the climbs that no one else wants to do. Tayler is usually that guy, so it's only fair that he should have a friend like that too.
Travis Guillory

Not sure when these two met officially, but according to Tayler they've always been friends. Travis is almost always down for an epic weekend ride, as long as there's a cold chocolate milk at the end of it. They spend many of their Saturdays together, exploring West Sonoma County and trying to outlast each other, attack each other, and encourage each other. The conversations that unfold are always memorable and often cover a variety of topics. Travis is the voice of reason, which is helpful for daredevil Tayler, and when Jess knows these two are riding together, she can rest at ease.... at least a little.

View from the top, of Mt Shasta. On road bikes, Tayler and Brad climbed from the bottom to the top of Mt. Shasta and came out only slightly unscathed. Clearly from the picture, it was a good time. These friends like to keep the adventures borderline sketchy and just safe enough. They take on challenges all over the world together and talk philosophy and the meaning of life all the while. Three weeks cycling through the UK definitely added memories and stories to the bank. What started as a shared love for old records, continues into a shared love of all the crazy things a person can do with a bike. The music never dies with these two....
