Wedding Party

Meet our wedding party who will be celebrating with us at the reception.

Tori Berchtold

Matron of Honor

Tori and I met at the beginning of high school. I knew she was going to be in my life forever. Have you heard of love at first sight? Kind of like that. I could write a book about all the memories and milestones we've shared. I'll keep it simple because once you see us together, you'll understand. I'm so honored to have her by my side. I love you Tora, Tari, Tori... tornado. xoxo- Tara

Evelyn Del Bosque

Bridesmaid

Hi I’m Evelyn and I’m Tara’s friend from Sacramento and Ruby’s favorite aunt! 😊I met Tara in 2016 through a mutual friend. We were all single girls new to Sacramento and we were living it up every weekend! (By the way, I’m still single and looking for a date to the wedding 😉) Okay back to my story…Tara left Sacramento for a bit but we reconnected when she moved back in 2019. We became closer that summer but it wasn’t until the pandemic that our friendship really grew. Our nights out on the town turned into nights in taking shots on FaceTime, making charcuterie boards, drinking wine, and having early night karaoke sessions! (Tara likes to go to bed early) Get ready to hear my terrible high pitch voice singing on the dance floor!

Brooke Rosenberger

Bridesmaid

Where to begin... My favorite memory of Tara and I was probably the time I visited her in San Francisco. The two of us bopped around Sonoma, drank wine all day as if we were a couple, then went back to her place after spending $50+ on snacks from CVS and ended the night watching movies. True love.

Melissa Yonkelowitz

Bridesmaid

The best and most fun memory was going to South Padre for Spring Break (in college)- too bad we don’t have many pics, since the camera got stolen. I won't forget about our bus getting pulled over by border patrol and when they asked us if we were from the U.S., I yelled, "No, we're from Chicago!" That trip was the start of our friendship when we discovered we are the perfect duo. We are alike in so many ways, our strong-minded, fun but laid-back personalities made it feel like we had been best friends forever. I love you Talaa and can’t wait for you to marry your best friend!

Julie Hernandez

Bridesmaid

My favorite memories with Tara have been all of our fun family weekends and time spent during the holidays. One that stands out was when Howie and I joined Ryan and Tara in Palm Springs last year, where we got to spend time golfing and lawn bowling (and they schooled us in couples Pictionary). It has been amazing to see Ryan and Tara create a home and family, and I could not be happier for my oldest brother to have found his perfect person. We are so excited to celebrate them both in Thailand with family and friends!

William Yates

Groomsman

I’m Ryan’s youngest brother, William. I live in our hometown of Napa, California with my lovely fiancé Carly Schmitz. Since I moved back home a few years ago, Ryan and Tara have been just a short drive away and I’ve been lucky enough to see them (and drink wine with them) often. It has been wonderful seeing their love blossom, and I can’t wait for them to officially tie the knot!

Howie Hernandez

Groomsman

Hey everyone, I’m Ryan’s brother-in-law, Howie! Some of my favorite memories with Ryan include golfing, fishing in San Diego, weekend trips at the ranch, and, of course, when he officiated our wedding. I am so happy for Ryan and Tara and can’t wait to celebrate their big day.

Dillon Keifer

Groomsman

Stephen Warren

Groomsman

I’m Steve, Ryan’s buddy from way back when. Ryan and I first met back in College at UC Santa Cruz, when Ryan was rushing my Fraternity. From Lake Shasta Houseboating, to Stanford Tailgaiting, to almost getting maimed by the Fresno State Football team on Spring Break, I’ve always felt a special bond with Ryan. If it weren’t for Ryan, I would not be the Father of the most beautiful little girl ever I am extremely happy for you Ryan and Tara. Congratulations on this fantastic journey that you all are about to embark upon.

Austin Yeakel

Groomsman

Ryan and A.J. met as babies in the Nordstrom elevator, became fast friends in Gymboree class, went on to graduate together from the esteemed Morgan preschool in Menlo Park, and then nearly got arrested together at the Mexican border for trying to smuggle fireworks and cuban cigars into the US at the Tijuana border. This was followed by many fuzzy nights visiting UCSC, a coast guard rescue in the San Francisco Bay off the rough coast of AT&T park, and then many great memories meeting Tara and watching her and Ryan fall in love. A.J. lives with his wife and two sons in Manhattan Beach, California.

Alex Crown

Groomsman

Ryan and I met when we were both freshmen in high school. After college we backpacked Europe together. I live in Napa, CA, enjoy gardening, hiking, raising hens, and cooking.

Perry Yates

Groomsman

Hi everyone! I’m Ryan’s brother Perry. I live and work in Washington DC and have been out here with my wife Andrea since 2009. Some of my favorite things to do are visiting new breweries and exploring the greater DC area on my bike. I have Ryan to thank for my love of very bad (but maybe also great?) 80’s movies, trivia, and exploring new places. While I wish we lived closer to California to be able to see Ryan and Tara more often, I can always be assured we will have a great time whenever they are both around.
