Is there a dress code?

Answer

Montana formal! Please notes that a ski lift and gondola will be used to get you to the venue Men: khakis, dress shirt or a suit Women: dress, jumpsuit, dress shirt & skirt. What is the best way to RSVP?/ The latest date to RSVP?

Answer

Through this website you can select the RSVP tab. This will allow you to enter your name to RSVP We ask that you RSVP no later than July 10th 2022. As the venue needs a finalized head count.

Where is the Reception?

Answer

The Reception will be held at the Summit House Restaurant and Bar. Right after the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour in the Summit House. Summit House is located next to the ceremony site on top of Big Mountain at The Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The bar in the Summit House Restaurant & Bar will open 30 minutes (5:30) before the ceremony!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outdoors on top of Big Mountain. We recommend wearing layers! If there are weather concerns the fabulous wedding crew will have a alternative to the outdoor ceremony The reception will be held indoors at the Summit House on top of Big Mountain.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

It takes about 20 minutes to take both chair lifts to the ceremony site. The last chair will take you to the top at 5:15. We recommend you arrive at 5:00 at the latest. (Please note they stop operating the lift. So if you’re late you won’t be able to ride to the ceremony or reception). Starting at 5:30 there will be an open bar before the start of the ceremony

The resort where the ceremony and reception are held offer lodging. Call the lodging number at 800-858-4152 in December 2021 to book a cabin, condo, or townhome. The Kandahar hotel is also located at the base of the mountain. (406) 862-6098 There are also a few other recommendations on our travel page.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! There are a variety of activities that the resort offers for kids for anytime during your visit. There is also a 20% discount on these adventures if you use the promo code: tarabocchiawhitten. Side note: Tarabochia in the promo code does have two “C’s” this is not a spelling error :) Note: if you are to book an adventure through the resort they must be made 7 days in advanced

What does transportation look like?

Answer

If you are flying into Glacier International Airport there are a variety of car rentals that will be able to transport you to the Resort. (You can view more of these on our travel page) If you are staying at the resort there is available parking. The last 4 hours of the reception there will be Whitefish Mountain Resort Shuttles to take you back to your lodging. To get to the ceremony and reception we will be riding a ski lift and a gondola to the top of Big Mountain.
