Question

COVID-19?

Answer

We completely understand COVID-19 is still very much an issue. We are hoping and planning as if the travel ban will be lifted and we will have no issues traveling next year. Please provide us with your email address so we can keep everyone updated as we find out new information. If you don’t feel comfortable traveling even without the uncertainty of COVID, we totally understand! We would love to celebrate all together post wedding.

Accommodations?

Answer

Please DO NOT contact the venue regarding your stay. Rooms have been booked already and you will be notified of which room you are in and how to make a payment. Roberta, our head wedding planner, will be in touch with all of our guests attending regarding all the details of your room.

Question

What meals and events will be held for guests attending the wedding?

Answer

We will provide meals for our guests for the welcome party, wedding cocktail hour and reception, along with breakfast the day after the wedding. Please feel free to enjoy your time exploring the area around these events.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place in the church on site which is located indoors. We plan on holding the reception outdoors. In the event of the inclement weather, a covering will be used. Let’s hope for a beautiful night under the Tuscan stars!

What if I have difficulty walking?

Answer

There is a short walk (< 3min) from the church to the lawn for the reception on slightly uneven ground. We will provide any assistance you need for this walk. There are also stairs on old stone. We will be mindful of any difficulties while selecting accommodations.

When should I book my flight?

Answer

ASAP! As soon as you know that you will be attending the wedding, we suggest booking your flights. Flights will be more affordable further out. Typically, the best time to book is 6-8 months in advance. Most airlines are offering no change fees, should a postponement occur. Please let us know when you book or if you need help booking!

Can I stay at a different hotel?

Answer

Rooms are blocked for all of our guests at the Abbey and nearby villas for September 1st and September 2nd. We will provide any transportation needed to and from the venue from those set accommodations. You are more than welcome to make this a vacation and stay where you please, however we cannot provide transportation to and from events for you.

Please make sure your passports don’t expire within 6 months of your travel date!
