Like many others during the start of Covid-19, we met online while both swiping right. After a very brief conversation online, we decided to exchange numbers which led to a 7 hour phone call the very next night. Our first "date" was the following day, in Helena. Tanya invited me to join her and most of her family for a bbq. I guess she figured if I passed that test, this could be something pretty solid. Diving right in, we knew it was special and began planning many outdoor adventures and shared our love of travel, food and good friends. Our trip to Kauai was a roller coaster just getting there with all the pandemic hysteria, but we decided to go through with it all. Glad we did since there was no one else on the island. It was a perfect chance to propose on an empty beach during a beautiful sunset, after a 3 day mandatory quarantine. Looking forward to many more adventures and best days ahead of us!
