Venue is located on the lake shore of Lake Charlevoix. Weather depending the ceremony will take place outside on the lake shore and reception will be inside.

If it rains or is cold the ceremony will be moved inside to the reception space.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Middle of September in northern Michigan can range from 50-75 degrees during the day, and fall to 40-60 degrees in the evening. On the lake shore it tends to be slightly cooler and can be breezy.

No, but we have listed a few suggestions for accommodations on the travel page.

What time should we arrive?

If attending the ceremony we recommend you arrive at 2:30pm. The itinerary of the day is on the schedule page of our website.

How much time will be between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We are planning on having an hour or so between the ceremony and reception. Drinks, food and lawn games will be available during this time.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. There will be a few options for wine and beer and two different liquor options.
