We're getting married!!!!!

The first time I ever realized I had fallen in love with Tanner was before we had even officially started dating. We had gone on a couple of dates, but since harvest season was starting soon, and he would be gone for the next 6 months, it really just wasn't the right time so we called it off. I was eating at a Deli a few months later with my roommate at the time and I remember her asking me what guy, if any, I would ever give a second chance to. Without a doubt, I answered with Tanner. I don't know whether it is his hard-headed nature, or his terrible sarcasm, but somehow he had stolen my heart. I think I didn't even know I was in love until that moment.

I met Lydia in the early part of 2020, but at the time I was obsessed with my career, and virtually nothing could stand between me and my work. It wasn't until the latter part of the year that I realized the amazing person that I had passed up. She's full of energy, never meets a stranger, extremely close to her family and friends, and was always up for an adventure together. I needed that in my life at the time, and I decided to chase after her for the second time. Boy did that take longer than I thought! The moment I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her isn't really a fairytale kinda story it was simply a long phone call about our day and talking about different things going on in each others' lives. She was the only person at that time that I could talk about those things too, and at the end of that phone call, I decided that I wanted to end everyday in that same loving and understanding way. That's when I knew.
