Mehendi: Indian Henna art tattoo on palms and arms for women. There will be a Henna tattoo artist who will apply the desired design to the bride and women guests. Haldi: An event where the bride and groom will get yellow turmeric showers. It is a casual afternoon/evening with family members and close guests only. It can be made fun with some music and games.

Traditional Indian wedding attire: Women - Saree (any color except black/white), Men - Dark/bright colored shirt (except black/white) & white Dhoti (preferable, not mandatory)

This is a larger event with many people gathering in the evening. Attire: Women - Saree/Lehenga, Men - Suit/Kurta
