💍 Tony and I have always wanted our wedding to be more than just a 5 hour event that would fly by and leave us feeling as though we hardly got to spend time with the people we love most. What we both wanted more than anything was the feeling of having all of our favorite humans come together and sort of move into a beach house for a long weekend ... someplace just far enough away where you'd know you were away from home, while simultaneously feeling like you were somehow right at home... 🌴 We fell in love with The Islander the moment we pulled onto the grounds. Tiki bars with live reggae … sectional sofas surrounding fire pits … adirondack chairs on the sand … swinging chairs on the patio … basketball and bocce ball ... morning pier fishing and late night s'mor-ing ... We knew immediately that not only was this the spot for our wedding day...it was the spot we wanted our entire guest list to move into and call home for the next few days, sharing moments and creating memories that will last in our collective hearts and souls together. 🍹 Which is why we've ditched the traditional honeymoon suite for a centrally located poolside cabana which we will be transforming into Cabana Central for the next 6 days. This will be your designated home base hangout + central hub of fun during your stay. There will be guest bartenders, backup sunscreen, emergency electrolytes + a Spotify DJ who may or may not accept your song requests. So once you've unpacked your bags and settled into your bungalow, check your cell phone texts for real-time event + activity updates from us. Because this weekend is about much more than the two of us. It’s about us + all of you. 🙏 It’s a celebration of life. 🥂 It’s a celebration of love. ❤️
