We met through a mutual friend before the beginning of the 2016 Spring quarter. We walked into our Spanish course and realized we had the same class, we decided to be partners for our Spanish dialogues. Chris spent all his time at the baseball field and Tana spent most of her time working at the library. Soon, Tana spent her free time watching Chris' baseball games and Chris spent his free time "studying" at the library near where Tana worked. The rest is history!

Chris surprised Tana with a morning trip to the beach! Naturally, Tana wore sweatpants and a large fuzzy sweater since mornings were cold at the beach. Chris had on dress shoes, a button down shirt, and lots of hairspray, Tana thought this was odd but went along with it. As they drove to the beach, Chris stopped and picked up his friend Julian and told Tana that Julian wanted to take photos at the beach. As they walked down the steps at Crystal Cove beach, Chris told Tana to wait because he had to tie his shoe. She turned around and found him on his knee with a sparkly ring - she couldn't say yes fast enough!
