What is the dress code?
Answer
*We are asking that everyone wear black because we expect it to be a small gathering and would like everyone to match the wedding party or essentially be part of the wedding party for pictures. *Dress code is in the range of semi-formal to formal. (The bride, groom and closest family will be wearing formal attire) *We will be outdoors and the weather may be cooler so we understand the need for jackets, pants etc. even if this makes the outfit less formal. * We also welcome comfortable shoes because you will be walking in grass. It is not rough terrain but there are some slight hills and small rocks.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
*According to google it should be about 60 degrees during the day and go down to about 40 degrees at night. *We will be outside but we have a few covered areas in case of rain. *There will also be propane heaters and a firepit to gather around.

Is the wedding outside?
Answer
*Yes the ceremony and reception will be outside. *We will have a few covered areas to protect from weather if needed. *The venue is the backyard of the brides parents home so there is a place to go inside if necessary for emergencies, health concerns etc.

What is the parking situation like?
Answer
*There are a couple lawn areas where will be directing cars to park. *There will be plenty of room but the more people who may be able to carpool, the better. This wouldjust make things more simple for people getting in and out at different times.

Are kids allowed?
Answer
*Yes we welcome the kids. * We would like you to KEEP IN MIND THOUGH that there will be quite a few things to keep an eye on with your kids. *There wont be any babysitters provided. *We wont be childproofing *There will be alcohol served in the evening and also quite a few candles, propane heaters and a firepit.

Will there be a bar?

*There will be alcohol available (an "open bar", but not a bar setup) *There may be quite a few kids and family members who do not or cannot partake so the alcohol will be separate from the spread of food and non-alcoholic drinks.

Are the bride and groom accepting gifts?
Answer
*If you would like to do something for the bride, groom and the kids, they are asking that you donate to their home down payment fund rather than bringing gifts. If you would like to do this, you can go to the gift registry on this site.
