Well, Once Upon a Time a girl named Tam met a Boy named Zack and they fell madly in love. It's been 4+ years now and they’re getting married!
We're getting married at the Museum of Arts and Design in NYC at Columbus Circle, overlooking Central Park. The museum is super cool and there will be a lot of skyline views overlooking the park and neon involved. We're excited and hopefully you are too.
Ok so here's the low down; We are extremely limited on how many people that the venue can accommodate, but more importantly, we want everyone to be able to have a great time and relax, so for this reason we are kindly requesting that you leave your little ones at home for the evening. I'm sure we''ll see them soon and be sure to bring them noisy projectile toys and messy art supplies (not really, but maybe. In fact, it’s entirely likely but we’ll try our best to be considerate.)
We are planning on having options for all dietary requirements. Furthermore, Zack is allergic to all forms of nuts so our reception and cocktail hour will be 100% nut free.
So we’re getting married at the Museum of Arts and Design in Columbus Circle. It’s a museum! And it’s super cool. In May they usually do a spring flower show of some sort so we’re kind of expecting that and we absolutely encourage you to explore the museum! Of course, feel free to take a stroll In Central Park or go shopping at Time Warner Center if that’s your thing. There IS a Sephora in there so feel free to drop in and get your makeup done before the wedding. The area is also just fantastic so you can’t go wrong just walking around and exploring. As for the wedding party: Girls are with Tam, guys are with Zack. Very much looking forward to spending the day with you! Details forthcoming tbd.
Please don’t bring a +1 unless you’ve talked to us first. We are so limited on space and have only invited our nearest and dearest.
It’s NYC, so please check one of the local parking apps or yelp it. We do not recommend renting a car.
The hotel block is a decent walking distance to the wedding but you may be able to use a hotel car depending on where you are staying. Cabs, Uber, and Lyft are also easy, and any hotel will help you get a cab. The venue is at Columbus Circle so the nearest stop is the 59th st station which serves the ACE and 123 lines. If you have Apple Pay set up on your phone you don’t even need a ticket - you can just tap your phone at any turnstile marked OMNI with a digital display and it should be fine. After a certain amount of taps per week you even get the rest of the month free!
We’re going semi-formal and encouraging everyone to wear bright colors, but really the important thing is that you wear something that makes you feel good! “No rules, just right” -Outback Steakhouse (But seriously let’s keep it semi-formal)
