we're saying "I Do"

-Jos and Tamara got to know each other while working together-Jos being Tamara's boss. -While Jos was pursuing Tamara, he left a dutch chocolate bar on her desk with a note saying "A Dutch treat for an incredible woman". Tamara was unsure if he meant that he was the dutch treat, or the chocolate... -Date Mishap #1 While having a picnic dinner near the river, the park security locked us in with our car. This led to Jos running down the park road, chasing a car that he thought was the security car, only to find out it was some poor park visitor. Meanwhile Tamara stood by the locked gate, calling the number for security and arranging for them to come unlock it. -Date Mishap #2 Jos planned this wonderful date, where we would go kayaking at the river where he originally asked Tamara to be his girlfriend. Jos and Tamara loaded up some borrowed kayaks, and set off, only to find the boat launch closed, meaning Jos and Tamara (mostly Jos) had to carry the kayaks 1/4 mile down to the river, and then back up at the end of the night. On the way down, while Jos was carrying a kayak, Tamara slipped and scraped her hand open. Then, while finally on the river, Tamara got extremely sea sick. The date idea was wonderful; the actual execution didn't go so smoothly. -Date Mishap #3 While riding electric scooters in Sacramento, Tamara accidentally pressed the accelerator in the process of getting off her scooter, causing her to fly forward as the scooter flew out of her hands into a nearby wall. -Jos proposed in -40 Celsius whether, in Canada, on the ice, in skates. -Jos and Tamara are both from different countries, so in a way our California wedding is a destination wedding.
