Its been a long road to this day but the true path to our destination begins today

It all began in the halls of Beville middle in 2003 when Taj first laid eyes on Tasha. It was Tasha’s smile that caught his eye. Tasha was a vibrant firecracker; never knowing she had caught Taj’s eye. He made sure she never found out and for six years Taj had a secret crush on Tasha saying nothing more then “hello” with a smile. Tasha never noticing him. Graduation day, June 9th 2007 is finally when she heard “Ms. Henderson….” Finally noticing his huge smile and a friendly face. Their first semester at NOVA they bumped into each other in the halls and Taj took that as a sign. Finally asking Tasha to come over and watch a movie and chill. (Netflix and chill wasn’t a thing yet.) Tasha said no because she was going to Walmart for late night shopping so not letting another opportunity pass he asked to go with her; setting up their first date. They then dated for one year and a half, got secretly engaged and sadly broke up a half a year later. “What happen?” He let her walk away…Why did they break up? Because they were both young, dumb, stubborn and had alot of growing up to do. Decemeber 22nd late at night, 10 years later; Taj was sitting on his porch, took a chance and made a call. “Hello?!?!?” With a huge smile on her face and butterflies in her stomach Tasha answered the call to hear “Hey Sunshyne……” and the rest is still being written….. Taj is the calm to Tasha’s storm and Tasha is the peace to Taj’s world. After years of life lessons they found their way back to each other and the timing couldn’t have been better. #WaddellWishComeTrue
