June of 2011: "Crystal Weinstein?? Who is that?!" is what I heard shouted across the high school cafeteria on the last day of our senior year. Without realizing, Joseph had spent many days sitting on the desk in front of me in my English class talking to his friend before the class bell would ring. I knowingly spent 3 years with his youngest sister in Spanish class. Besides that, EVERYONE knew “Joe Tagz”. Every senior male and female were paired together to walk down the aisle for graduation. I got the loud, outgoing boy, and he got the quiet, cute girl. Joseph had moved to Florida shortly after graduation. We started talking and creating our friendship after Joseph left several comments on my Facebook pictures… lol. March of 2012: We made the decison to really meet in person and spend time together before making our relationship official. In just one day, Joseph drove 17 hours from Florida to New Jersey. We spent every day together for about a week, and that was it. We knew. Joseph drove back down to Florida, packed his things, transfered his job, found a place to live, and drove back up to New Jersey in one weeks time. That’s three 17 hour trips within two weeks. …And that’s some serious infatuation if you ask me! April 8th 2012: We made our relationship official by semi-randomly choosing this day because neither of us could remember if our first date was the 8th, 10th or if we wanted to pick Friday the 13th. Fastforward through the years of fun dates, movie nights, vacations, long talks, College graduations, new jobs, new homes, the ups and the downs; ALL of the things that come along with building a strong, amazing relationship. May of 2018: we got an apartment and were officially on our own with our two furbabies, Noodles and Babycat. July 4th 2020: Joseph asked me to be his wife. So, we once walked down the aisle to graduation... now we will walk down the aisle to our forever.
