We're Getting Married!

After a long night of little to no sleep, we went out to a very early breakfast for my 25th birthday. After heading to one of our favorite diners (diners are our thing) we went home so Ed could get ready for Church and I could get back to sleep. After Ed left and I had FINALLY fell asleep, this man texts me saying him and his brother are coming over right now and I needed to get up and get dressed. Bitter as can be, I get up in my pajamas to find Ed and his brother standing in the living room as awkward as anything. Mind you, I am still half asleep and cranky. Ed starts talking about something and the next thing I know this man is down on one knee proposing to me. I was so tired I did not hear his speech which he rehearsed all week and had no idea what was coming. Automatically I start laughing and said "are you kidding me?" "You woke me up for this!" I of course asked him multiple times if he was serious which anyone can see in the lovely video Ed's brother Michael took. In the end, I said yes and needless to say, I could not go back to sleep after such a big surprise. EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER knew about Ed proposing that day and later on, I was brought to a surprise engagement/birthday party where both the Liotta's and Taggart's came together to celebrate our engagement. This was the best surprise birthday gift ever and now Ed can never forget the day he proposed because it was on my birthday.
