HOW WE MET
Darius and I met during my sophomore year and his freshman year at a back to school party while attending California State University, Northridge. We clicked instantly and I couldn’t stop laughing when I was around him. I saw him a lot after that day and the more I saw him the more I wanted to be around him. After bonding over our shared majors, goals, and travel aspirations we started dating.  Eight years later, we're each other’s' best friends and true loves. We're ready for the next chapter of our lives and couldn’t be more happy to see what God has in store for us.

Darius proposed to me on our anniversary during a beautiful visit to a downtown Los Angeles rooftop  restaurant overlooking the city.  It was a huge surprise because I initially believed we were just going to dinner, but there were rose petals everywhere and a lady singing my favorite Taylor Swift song. and right away I knew it wasn't just dinner; it was something more,  something special.
