We went here the night before we got engaged and it has become one of our favorite Charleston spots. If you love oysters and lobster rolls as much as we do, this place is a must on your visit to Charleston!
Husk is a great place for locally-sourced elevated southern food! You will want to make reservations in advance to make sure you can grab a table at Husk. The bar next door is a great spot for drinks before or after dinner!
Chez Nous is the perfect date night spot! We came here for dinner the night of our engagement and fell in love with this quaint and intimate restaurant serving French cuisine. They hand-write their menu daily and all of the food was incredible!
Walking up and down King Street is a must when visiting Charleston! The street is filled will numerous shops, restaurants and bars
This row of pastel houses will not disappoint! Add it to your downtown to do list.
If you are looking to get a taste of Southern Charm, we would recommend a visit out to Boone Hall Plantation! This is actually where we got engaged and the house was featured as Allie's family home in the movie the Notebook. The trees covered in spanish moss on the drive in completes the experience at this South Carolina Plantation!
If you are looking to catch some beach time during your visit to Charleston, we recommend checking out Sullivans Island!
For a waterfront dining experience, Shem Creek is a great place to visit! This area consists of several fantastic restaurants and bars with beautiful waterfront views of the Charleston harbor.
