They've been on countless school trips together and Molly "got to" witness firsthand the awkwardness of Cody and Sydney deciding they liked each other on the Costa Rica AP Spanish trip after senior year of high school. #matchmaker

Jeremy is Cody’s older brother. Those who live with Jeremy and Cody sometimes get annoyed with their frequent phone calls to discuss Husker Football or just see what the other one is up to.

David Thorson

David is Cody’s oldest brother and lifelong 2 vs 2 basketball teammate against arch rivals Brian and Jeremy. Dave and Cody enjoy participating in occasional fitness challenges. Fortunately for David he has plenty of time to prepare for these events during his time at the fire station.

Carlie and Sydney have been friends since freshman year of college when they both lived in the dorm a mile off campus (procrastination at it's finest). It ended up working in their favor because it allowed them to get into all sorts of shenanigans together. They eventually lived in their sorority house and were senior roommates with Madelaine where a lot of homemade pizza was made and wine was drank.

Brian Thorson

Brian is Cody’s older brother. They’ve spent countless hours together mowing yards on hot summer days. Growing up they enjoyed epic guitar hero battles and Call of Duty Nazi Zombie survival adventures which Jeremy and David were apparently too cool for.

Madelaine Hammen

Madelaine and Sydney have been friends since freshman year when they both lived in the dorm a mile off of campus and they've been inseparable since. Thanks to Madelaine, Sydney's undergrad years were filled with a lot of cheese, wine, and trivia in sweatpants.

Austen is Cody’s soon to be Brother-in-law, although they prefer to leave out the “in-law” part. Austen has been quoted (telling Sydney) “if you guys break up I’m siding with Cody.”

Abbie Burney

Sydney met Abbie at Abbie's bid day and they spent all of 8:01 day together. By the end of that day, they determined that they were meant to be a big little pairing and were pumped when it all worked out. 6 years later and Abbie still calls Sydney MOM.

Aaron Hill

Aaron is Cody’s soon to be Brother-in-law. At family events Cody enjoys hanging out and playing Can Jam with Aaron. He also uses those opportunities to see Aaron’s shoes and latest Eddie Bauer flannel shirt so he can get inspiration for his own wardrobe.

Charlotte is Sydney's soon-to-be-official niece. Ever since she found out Cody had a girlfriend, she's been asking when we were getting married at about every family event. We're just glad we can finally make this a reality for her. ;)
