We met technically on Twitter (when it was still Twitter) during the pandemic and it all started when Emily liked one of Ethan's tweets about doing puzzles. Emily played it off as simply relating to the pandemmy hobby tweet, but it was really a low stakes way for a shy girl to make a connection during social isolation. We met face to face in the summer of 2020 at the Soltero cabin as a way to have a COVID-safe date, that wasn't really a date, but was a definitely a date. Fast forward three and a half years and we have gone beyond twitter mutuals to fiancés, co-homeowners, dog parents, travel partners, board game opponents, instagram friends, cooking buddies, NYT Crossword rivals, soon to be spouses, and most importantly, pardners.
