An adorable photo with a dog (Gideon!), a double-chin photo with a friend (Hi Todd!), and a quirky photo with beers (as pictured above!); it was the Bumble profile of Suzanne's dreams. Swiping right, Suzanne quickly said, "Hi Ben!" and the two were off, chatting about Suzanne's book club and Ben's upcoming trip to Park City with friends. A week and a half later, a date was set for Thursday drinks at 7:00 p.m. at Anfora in the West Village. But Turner Construction had other plans for Ben that night. He called Suzanne to tell her he would be a little late for their drinks. "This guy is calling me, and he's going to be late?!" Suzanne wasn't sure how to feel. 7:00 p.m. turned into 8:00 p.m., but Suzanne just had a feeling about this guy. When he came stumbling through Anfora's door with his hat, skateboard, and a pack of "I'm sorry I'm late" Oreos, she quickly learned why. The two chatted for a few hours before realizing neither had eaten dinner. They rounded the corner to Corner Bistro for burgers and fries and said their goodbyes after midnight. The following week was a whirlwind. The two spent time together every other day and even went to see Zach Bryan on their fourth date less than a week after their first one (thank you, impulsive drunk purchases!). A month flew by with dates, texts, phone calls, and FaceTimes, and in no time, Ben made it official, "Want to date?" he asked. Now, all these months later, he asked again, "Want to date...forever?" We done did it. We're getting married!
