For a relaxing day close to our venue, go window shopping or grab a bite to eat on historic Main Street St. Charles. (The St. Charles Farmer's Market is open from 7-12 on Saturdays - if you start there, make your way South on main street to see the other shops and restaurants.) The Katy Trail is a good place to walk, run, or bike along the river there, too.
Take a walk through "The Loop"! Grab a rootbeer at Fitz's, eat a pulled pork sandwich at Salt + Smoke or a slice of pie at Blueberry Hill, and pop into our favorite STL bookstore, Subterranean Books.
Spend a day in Forest Park (one of America's most beautiful city parks, second in our heart only to Patterson Park of Baltimore fame). Nature! It's free!
Grab a beer and watch a game across from Busch Stadium in Ballpark Village. (Cardinals are in Pittsburgh this weekend).
Open every day in historic Kirkwood (close to the Skrivan's)! Check the website for hours.
The Hill is famous for its Italian eateries. For a no frills lunch or a cold beer, try Biggies. For something more fancy, J.Devoti Trattoria & Grocery is well known for its farm-to-table, seasonal dishes.
