If you're driving up from Los Angeles and need a coffee break, stop at Carpinteria’s finest coffee shop and take a stroll down Linden Avenue to 1st Beach. Andrew and I both grew up in Carp, and every walk down Linden reminds us just how lucky we were to grow up in such a charming beach town.
Allie's favorite hike with incredible views of all of Santa Barbara county.
Andrew's favorite hike! A beautiful hike that leads to natural springs you can swim in and a natural waters slide you can slide down!
The perfect spot in downtown Santa Barbara to grab a beer and catch a game, followed by some delicious tacos at Corazón or flavorful Thai food at Empty Bowl.
A classic, cute beach that Andrew and Allie rarely visited growing up, but we still love it! For even better beaches, head to Carp 😉
The Santa Barbara Pier is a special spot for an afternoon stroll, offering stunning ocean views, a refreshing sea breeze, and a perfect blend of coastal charm and relaxation.
Our favorite breakfast spot in Montecito. Highly recommend the eggs florentine!
One of the Funk Zone's first breweries! Allie’s mom had an office in the Funk Zone back when it was more industrial than a bar scene. When Allie was little, she and her brother—also named Andrew—would take the train up from Carp to visit her, then head to Chase Palm Park to ride the merry-go-round.
Andrew's mom, a marathoner, used to take Andrew on long runs while he was in a jogging stroller - many of those long runs climaxed with a visit to the beautiful bird refuge, a small lake surrounding the SB Zoo - but make sure you watch out for those alligators that escaped all those years go and call the bird refuge home to this day :)
Great place for a free workout with great views of the Santa Barbara Harbor
Hot yoga with the best instructors CorePower has to offer! Andrea S.'s Saturday morning Sculpt class is the best.
