We’re getting married!

Our love story didn’t start out as a love story. Cory didn’t sweep me off of my feet the second we met. We didn’t lock eyes and feel a spark inside. Instead, we became extremely close friends while working together. We got to know one another slowly and see each other in the good and the bad. Cory always had my back and if I ever needed anything, I knew I could count on him no matter what. Our friendship continued for years, until it turned into love. As corny as it sounds, it’s like the stars aligned and gave us the opportunity to connect with each other in a way we never imagined would happen. I don’t recall the moment everything changed. All I know is that I couldn’t be happier that it did. Honestly, until the moment I laid eyes on cory for the first time in a long time.. I never seen this coming. But true love has a way of sweeping you off of your feet at the most unexpecting moments.

I know what you’re thinking.. did she REALLY propose? Yes. I SURE DID and I couldn’t think of a better way because I love how with everything we do, we can write our own story. No matter how similar or different it is to the existing social “norm”.
