Maid of Honor
Katie has been by my side since Day 1 . . . well actually Day 548 (we're 18 months apart). She's put up with all of the older sister bossiness, so I figured there was no better person for the job! All of this aside, I am so incredibly fortunate to have someone as kind and loyal as Katie not only as a friend, but as a sister. I cannot wait to add my wedding day to the list of memories I have of us together, with her by my side for it all.
Matron of Honor
I don't know how I would've survived Penn State without Libby by my side. She was always there with a bottle of wine, some late night pizza, and a rom-com. From late nights in the library to late nights in Champs, we've truly survived it all. I am so happy to have taken so many trips to Nashville to visit Libby, Tommy and all of their pets, and I'm ecstatic to have them back up North for my wedding (and hopefully keep them here!)
Bridesmaid
My over-the-fence, next door sister! Marisa has always been a mentor to me - from teaching me how to play in the sandbox, driving me into school, talking about college, and comparing grad school programs. I'm so happy we are finally back in the same state again, although it is a little far from our Ocean State we call home. I love her dearly and am so happy to have her apart of my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
I was always so excited to spend my summers in Hingham, and it was because Elise was there! To say our summers were unconventional would be an understatement: we learned how to sail, row, water skii, light flares, cement a sea wall, paint a raft, survive on Spoon Island, operate a Whaler, and pick up a million sticks in the yard. I've always loved coming back to Hingham over the years to see her, and am so excited to reunite once again for my wedding, with thankfully no beach work involved.
Bridesmaid
I have to give Grace the credit for this day, as she was the one to motivate me to ask Graham out on our first date back in high school. She was my Rhody travel buddy, and always someone down to go to the beach or get an Awful Awful. She kept the travel bug and I've been living vicariously through her as she has ventured across the US, currently living in San Diego, CA. I'm so excited to have Grace apart of this special day and incorporate that little piece of Rhode Island into my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Of course the two Rachel S's would find each other in ADPi! Rachel and I found ourselves involved in many of same things at Penn State: Greek Life, THON, and unfortunately many chem classes. I have been so fortunate to have ended up in Philly with Rachel, and we have drank and ate our way around the city. I've loved seeing her absolutely thrive in the city and in her job, and I'm so thankful to have her with me for my wedding!
Bridesmaid
Liz is probably the only person I know who actually enjoyed chemistry in college. Like many of us, THON brought us together but thankfully we stayed close even after those 46+ hours. Liz is always there to keep you level-headed, with some well-orchestrated bad decisions when the time calls. I'm so grateful she is braving the cold for my wedding and only hope a wedding-themed hard hat makes it to the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Whenever you needed a home-cooked Italian meal or a couch to vent on, Caroline was always there to provide. She has become the stand-in mother of everyone she meets, paired with her perfect dog, Olive. There's no one I'd rather have consulting on my wedding decisions or standing by my side day of. With luck, she will bring some of her homemade red sauce to the reception.
Best Man
Tyler is my older brother, and he has been proud of that fact since the day I was born as he walked around the hospital telling everyone "Me big brother". Growing up we loved playing sports together outside and hanging out together in the basement. While we now live a few states apart, we still talk regularly about soccer, Marvel, television, and memes. I am excited to have Tyler here by my side again just like all those years growing up.
Groomsman
I met Tim in middle school and we have been friends since. Tim and I enjoy competing with each other at absolutely anything. My friends and I made up "Deck Ball" in middle school and at 27 years old Tim, and I still play when we come home to Rhode Island. Tim and I have traveled the length of the eastern seaboard together from partying in Florida to church mission work in Maine, and even across the Atlantic to London.
Groomsman
Andy and I met in college and were in the same fraternity together at Penn State. We roomed together while living in our fraternity house during our junior year and again in a rental house downtown our senior year. In that time we've played a few hundred games of Mario Super Strikers against each other on the Gamecube and binge watched every movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe together. Andy and I share a love of Penn State football and have enjoyed going to games together every season since 2016. Andy and I will be better behaved at the wedding than we were at fraternity parties.
Groomsman
Dave and I met our senior year at Penn State while we were both THON captains and quickly bonded over our love for disappointing baseball teams, the Mariners and Phillies. In 2021 Rachel and I moved to Philadelphia, and then Dave moved to the city shortly after. While Rachel was studying for vet school, Dave and I attended many sporting events and ate/drank our way through the city's top restaurants and bars. At the reception Dave and I will be recreating our favorite drinks from our time together at Penn State.
Groomsman
Tom and I met growing up in Boy Scouts and became fast friends through our shared love of English Football Club, Arsenal. During college Tom and I spent 3 spring breaks together in New York City watching the Big East basketball tournament and after college we planned a trip to Indiana for the Big Ten basketball tournament. Rachel is very excited for Tom to be in the wedding so I will have someone else to talk Arsenal with than her.
Groomsman
Alex and I met our freshman year at Penn St both living on the 7th floor of Sproul Hall. We spent many hours hanging out, watching sports and movies, and DJing Sproul Hall music hour together based on Yik Yak suggestions. Alex and I eventually joined the same fraternity and lived together senior year. Alex and I have traveled to Pittsburgh, Auburn, and Colorado together watching Penn St football and skiing. I am excited to add my wedding as another event and party together.
Groomsman
Chris also lived on the 7th floor of Sproul Hall freshman year at Penn St. Chris and I spent many hours together in Economics classes and lived together sophomore year, playing too many games of Madden and FIFA to count but every game ended with Chris victorious. We often discussed European football late at night in State College's finest establishments. I look forward to Chris reminding me of my poor video game record over the wedding weekend.
Groomsman
Ethan and I grew up going to church youth group and running hurdles on the track team together. We spent many weekend mornings shoveling snow off the track or hiding in the shade depending on the inconsistent New England weather. We've done ski trips, run Penn Relays, and vacationed from Indiana to Montreal to England together. While we will reminisce, wedding clothes will not allow for us to practice hurdle drills.
