For my (Suli) birthday Trevor and I took a day trip to San Antonio to see the Botanical Gardens! After the visit we stopped by the river walk and had lunch at the tastiest German restaurant called Schilo’s. Our time there was so magical because there we started wedding planning and talking about our future <3 Then we made our way back to Houston. We were supposed to make it down to have dinner with my family (or so I thought) but they had a surprise for me! When we got back to my house, we went through the back and saw my immediate family there waiting! While I was saying hi I didn’t realize that behind me there was a sign that said “Marry me”. When I turned to look at Trevor I saw it and he proposed! And once I turned back around to see my family, there waiting, was all my friends and even more family! Even family out of state were there! It was such a blessing to share the most special day with the love of my life and my family and friends! Then we celebrated the engagement for the rest of the night!

We met on an online Christian Community called Courtship Network, Trevor saw that I (Suli) was following him so he decided to text me. From there, we saw we had so much in common morally and spiritually; the only thing in our way was the distance. I (Trevor) lived in Denver Colorado at the time but made time to come visit Suli down in Texas. After the first time seeing each other in person, we fell more in love and saw conformation of God’s blessing on our relationship! It was very hard saying goodbye at the airport. After two trips Trevor moved to Texas so we could never go long without seeing each other ever again. <3
